1st day at work

Reached PWC building at 8 this morning for some orientation at DBS... Met some pretty amusing pple from the various positions in the bank...

After the orientation, took an MRT down to Sengkang to my appointed branch at Compass Point... never expected much... Thought the POSB at Compass Point would be infested with aunties and will not have many pple... but I was soo soo wrong!!! The crowd was horrible!!! Even before the bank gates opened, there was already a long line waiting outside...

My collegues were super friendly and nice... lol... made a new eating kaki... she has also just graduated from poly and joined this company last month and she will be joining me for the trainings!!! yay!!! I'm not alone.. heehee.. A happy happy girl, I am...

Realised that time passes by really fast at the bank... maybe its because you see people dashing in and out of the bank so time would seem to pass very quickly...

Did OT today... cos of some probs ecountered at work... heehee... but i was told this was one of the better days so I dare not imagine what it will be like on rough days... hehheh... so wish me all the luck pple... hehhheh

Saturday = Dardar day and Sunday = Family day

Saturday:

Spent the whole day with dardar... heehee went to ToaPayoh central, developed China trip pics and personalised the new photo album I got.. A cow cow photo album, I got... now filled with pretty pretty china pics and stuff which I collected throughout the trip...heehee... After personalising the photo album, dar and I went to Serangoon North to see fishies... It has been a long long time since I visited those shops hehheh... bet those animals miss me... heehee... Finished animal visiting, the both of us walked to Hougang Ave 8... chatted and watched pple play badminton which tempted us... heehee soo I guess this sat, we'll be playing badminton... yay!! heehee... so exciting.. heehee... I miss my dardar!!!!!!(^_^)
Chatted till about 7 and I had to go home... why... why is it that time passes so fast espacially when I'm with dardar?? I miss him sooo sooo much... *sobs*

Sunday:

Piggy me woke up at 12 this afternoon... went to ToaPayoh with mummy and daddy for lunch and later went to the NTUC at the central to do our weekly grocery shopping... After shopping, went home, lazed around and later left for evening mass with mummy... Mass over, mummy and I took a bus down to Compass Point... Cos I'll be starting work tmr and I dunnoe where the POSB bank is.. soo mummy accompanied me to look for it... heehee... After hunting for the bank, we went to the food court upstairs and bought dinner... Daddy then came to pick us up... Reached home, watched tv and now online... haha... what a lazy day I had today and I still miss my dardar... wonder will he drop my tmr to fetch me home.. heehee... I hope he does... *wink wink*

Came home about an hour ago... am uploading my china trip pics but seem to be having some problem doing it... lol I believe the photos will be up soon... hehheh...

Woke up pretty early today... 9am.. hmmmz actually I got woken up by a call... DBS called me... She told me to go for a 11am appointment... This is my 2nd interview for DBS... met the branch manager, the HR manager and I forgot who was the other manager... anyway... they asked me loads of questions... some made me dumbfounded... but nevertheless, they gave me the job!!! YIPPIE!!! Am sooo happy!!! lol... I know this job's gonna be tough but I will pull through I hope... haha... will be reporting for duty on Monday... so excited... simply can't wait!! heehee

After the interview, went home to rot and later met dardar at 4 for early dinner cos we were gonna watch Star Wars episode 3... love the show... loved every bit of it... heehee... dar got some complementary tics from his mummy that's why we went for the show.. hehheh... after the show ended, dar and I went to meet up with his friends... a pretty nice bunch of pple... lol... stayed, chatted and rotted till about 11 plus then returned home...

Now I'm home... hmmz... timed myself... I took almost 10 mins typing this entry... lol.. well... I'm trying to type as much as possible cos I'm waiting for all the pics to be fully uploaded... This is seriously taking ages... ahhahaha...

Good Morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol... Just woke up and I have no idea why I'm so happy today... heehee... maybe it was cos I met dar yesterday and spent the whole day with him... lol

Went to dar's place yesterday in the early afternoon to have lunch together... Had lunch at the coffeeshop nearby... Spagetti!!!!! Yummy... my fav... I miss Sg's food sooo much... After lunch, went to dardar's place... He tried on the shirt I got for him and he looked good... hehheh... watched my fav anime with him "Ayashino Ceres".. The sweetie downloaded for me cos his cd burner was outta order so we had to watch it at his place... heehee... After watching, it was already time for dinner... After dinner, played some playstation games and went home...

lol.. what a lazy and but shiok day I had... haha... Today will be another lazy day I guess... heehee

Back from Shanghai

Day 1

Flew to NanJing (China) last friday... 13th May... met Amanda and her parents, my granny and 2nd aunt, Angeline and her mum and Amanda's friend Charlene at Changi Airport Terminal 2 at 6am that morning.. heehee... It was a 5 hrs flight so when we arrived, it was just in time for lunch... hehheh... Lunch wasn't that bad except for the excessive oil from every dish... haha... did not eat much on the first day... hmmmz... too oily for me I guess... heehee... After lunch, we headed for the Confuscius Temple street for shopping... Didn't see anything we liked so the 4 of us - Angeline, Amanda, Charlene and I waited for the rest at the nearest Macs... Were looking out for eye candies as well but sadly noone... haix... lol... but it was ok cos we had another week to go... haha... Next, we went to the Jade factory... and after dinner, the coach sent the tour group of 31 pple back to our hotel to rest... cos we seemed tired.

Day 2

Morning call was 6.15. After breakfast, we headed for NanJing's Yantze River Bridge. It was the first double deck and double track highway and railway bridge constructed by the chinese. Took some pics there and next we went to the Ming Tomb. Had some interesting history lessons before lunch and after lunch, we took a 2 and 1/2 bus ride to WuXi... WuXi is said to be famous for their pearls... bought a pair of pearl earrings for my mummy and 2 bottles of pearl cream... hehheh... After visiting the pearl factory, had lunch, and visited the LinShan Temple. This temple is situated at the outskirts of WuXi and is surrounded by many mountains... It was spectacular and the weather was fantastic... took many crazy pics there as well... Had dinner after that and then headed for their famous shopping centre, Parkson shopping mall... Its opened by some malaysian business man... and I realised that their branded goods actually cost more than what they are selling in SG... pretty strange... lol...

Day 3

Took a boat ride after breakfast around TaiHu... one of the biggest lakes you can find. Its the size of 4 SGs or 2 HKs... Not only was WuXi famous for their pearls, they were also famous for their teapots... went to the teapot factory... After visiting the factory, had lunch at some restaurant in WuXi before we headed for SuZhou... At last we saw an eye candy lol... Char spotted him.. lol... not bad quite boyish lookin hahaha.... Anyway after lunch went to SuZhou and throughout the 1hr plus journey, Char was missing her WuXi waiter... lol... When we arrived at SuZhou I found alot of pretty girls there...So I guess what pple said was true. SuZhou is indeed famous for their beauties... Visited the Lotus Garden... After the visit to the Lotus Garden, went to Hanshan Temple... Heard that many wishes came true there so I went over and made a wish... heehee... Shan't say it out or it might not come true so... shhh... heehee... After dinner, we went on a night tour at some gu cheng... bought many tidbits home... heehee... After shopping for tidbits, Angeline, Charlene and I saw a night market so we decided to take a tour roung the market... The night hotel stay wasn't as good as the 1st night but I did not bother heehee... cos I saw eye-candy no.2... heehee... my SuZhou bell boy hahaha... he look like MengZhe lol...

Day 4

Dropped by the silk factory... wanted to buy a silk scarf but sadly did not see anything I like... lol... sad case... haha... so I left the place empty handed... Had lunch after the silk factory visit and went on down to HangZhou... At HangZhou, we went on a cruise down their river and I saw the site at where the chinese story Madam white snake was taken at... Now I realised that that is such a pargoda... took pics there... so will upload them on multiply soon... heehee... We then took a walk about the park and went onto the bridge where Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Yin Tai stood many years ago... In case you guys dunnoe what is Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Yin Tai, its known as the butterfly lovers or the eastern romeo and juliet... This was actually a true story... HangZhou is a place where all these stories took place... After dinner that night, we went to watch a play on the developments of HangZhou from Yue Fei to the present... I loved the play!!!! I loved the effects, the cast, everything!!!! it was supendous!!! They had some costumes there as well... so the 4 of us took pics in their costumes and I was dressed as Xiao Yan Zi from Huan Zhu gege... I looked rather silly I must say lol... but it was fun fun fun!!! After the fun filled night, all of us got tired so we went back to the hotel to rest...

Day 5

Went to the country side areas - Green tea plantations.... Love the greenery... the four of us went up the hills to pluck tea leaves... heehee... and I bought some green tea home *slurps* loves green tea... Took more pics at the plantation and later had lunch.. After lunch, went to our main destination... SHANGHAI!!!! When we left HangZhou, I missed that place so much... I love the countryside areas... haix... I wanna go back to HangZhou... The journey from Hangzhou to ShangHai was pretty long... it was a 4 hrs coach ride!!! my gosh... long sia... so I entertained my other 3 pretty darlings by playing charades with them... hehheh... it was good enough to entertain us for the first 2 hrs and the next 2 hrs, we fell asleep... heeheee... Arrived Shanghai, it was shopping time!!!! Our tour guide took us to the imitation market... gawd there were many pple there and pple just would stare at you from head to toe... so we had to hold onto our bags real tight... Bought 2 handbags one for mummy one for me... it was originally 680 ren min bi (for each bag) but I managed to bargain for 100 ren min bi each... lol... hehheh... the shop owner sure unhappy la but I can't be bothered... bought 2 shirts for daddy as well... altogether was supposed to cost 360 but I bargained to 120.. feeling so satisfied with myself... then also bought a sportswear for dardar... original was 70 bucks... i bargained and got it for 30... felt so super shiok...

Day 7 - Free and easy

Still at Shanghai... Went to the nearby warehouse to shop and now I know where the shops at fareast got their clothes from... hehheh... they are from china!!! and its super cheap there... I got a new bracelet... saw it in SG selling for $50 and over there I managed to bargain from S$19 to S$10... bought a pair of earrings as well for only S$4 and 2 tops... one for work one for dinner use... the one for dinner, saw it at forever 21 exactly the same top selling at $50 plus 60 and over there, I bargained my way to S$14... and the quality of the blouse was exactly the same... Charlene got this dress which was super sweet and pretty.. also got it for about S$20 plus... I wanna shop there more often... heh...

Day 8 - last day

Didn't do much... stayed in the hotel most of the time... checked out at 11... bid goodbye to china... cos will be coming home... haix... so much fun there and I haven't shopped enough... sighz... I wanna shop more!!!!!!!! ahhh!!!!!!!

Happy early 2 years and 3 months dar...

Will be flying off on the 13th which means I would not beable to spend my 2 years 3 mths anniversary with dardar... heehee.. so hence we went out today... hehheh

Dar picked me up from my place at 11 this morning for lunch... Brought me to Swensens for my fav crayfish pasta... *yummy* heehee... after eating, went Kboxing... spent the whole afternoon there...

Oooh... How I love my day... heehee... Though it was short but I just loved it... heehee...

Dying of bordom

Been staying home too long... going boncus soon!!!! ahhh!!!!!!! watched at dolphin bay series 3 times... This my friends can tell how bored I am...

Mummy came home today with dinner... she bought half a duck!!!!!! daddy not feeling well can't eat much... mummy can't eat that much either... so its down to me... My mum seriously wants me to grow fatter sia... lol...

Did the rest of the packing up today... realised I still need to get some empty containers... to put some of my other barangs.. haha... my mum was surprised that I managed to pack whatever I needed for my 7 days trip to china in one lugguage... and in that lugguage, not only did I manage to put my daily needs, I also managed to put in another lugguage in that bag... lol... brought another bag for in case I shop too much... heh

Dar's sooo sweet... he has asked for a day off tmr to stay with me before I leave the country... so that means I'll get to spend the whole day with him tomorrow and he's intending to send me off on friday... told him not to.. but he insist... If the flight was in the afternoon or night I dun mind.. but I need to check in at 6am in the morning!!! Early!! but he insist... so I gave in.. yay!!! heehee... I'm a happy girl...

Well... after the trip, I'm gonna take a break maybe for afew days then will be reporting for work... Did I mention?? I got a job in the bank... heehee... the HR manager told me to give her a call when I'm ready to report for work... and training will start in June... heh... Absolutely looking forward to it... Been slacking too long... Its time for my brains to start doing some work...

OooH!!!!!! The day's here!!!!!

Its my beloved Amanda's birthday!!!! YAY!!!! Gonna meet dearie cousins Mand and Angel later at Orchard to celebrate her birthday... lol... We're going to sing our lungs out!! yay~

Hmmz... I'm wondering why am I up so early... This is so unlike me... Usually I would sleep till 11 plus 12 but mow somehow my bodyclock's screwed up... I tend to wake up in the middle of the night around 3am and when I fall back asleep, I'll be awake by 8 plus 9... Howcan!!! I need my sleep!!! oh no!!! lol

I'm counting down the days to my Shanghai trip... gonna fly off next friday... Sooo exciting!!! haha... First stop will be NanJing... Heard from my mummy Nanjing's a shopping paradise... everything's super cheap there but I hafta know how to bargain... heehee... I love bargaining... Brings back memories when I went to YunNan, Kunming, Dali (parts of China) with the school during the last year of secondary school... Had so much fun bargaining... hehheh... In the end, when coming back, I bought so much stuff that I could not zip up my lagguages properly... so this time I'll hafta play smart... heh... I intend to bring an extra hang carry bag in my lagguage... Feeling so smart all of a sudden... lol hmmmz... now... I must prepare my shopping list... Things to get for my pretty dearies like Fiona... Shal... Clara... Silvia... Penny and Liwen!!! heehee... and things to get for my daddy and mummy and of cos how can I leave out my dardar!!! hehheh... oooh maybe get some stuff for his family as well... oh oh and Karen, Audrey and all... cannot miss... yay!!! sooo happy!!

Last night Penny was telling me bout her bike practical... so now penny... I wish you all the best!!! I morally support you!!! wanted to go down tmr to watch u ride but having something on... heehee... so Wish you good luck for your prac!!! clumsy me... clumsy day...lol

Went out with piggy oh da jie today... lol...(my eldest cousin, Angeline) Went to school at bout 11 plus, 12 to help dar return his lan card... Then met Angel outside school and we went to the business canteen for lunch... After lunch, found that Karen and the rest of the Alpha pple were having competition so the both of us went over to find them... heehee... Saw only Karen and YK.. the rest dunnoe where they went... lol... Well... spoke awhile then left...

Wanted to take the bus 16 to Raffles (yr 1 classmate Jason told me). The both of us went to the busstop... not only did we not see a bus 16, we were heading the wrong direction!!! (All thanks to me) hahaha... So we took a bus down to Bukit Batok MRT station and took a train down instead... Wanted to change to the East West line, heading towards Raffles but we ended up taking the opposite direction again... lol... I've realised that whenever there's me around, we would bound to take wrong directions or get lost... haha...

Arrived at Raffles Place at last, took our passport size photos, later went to StarHub cos I wanted to get a new line... or shld I say my daddy wanted me to get a new line... hehehe...

At first the lady told me "In order to retain my points, I'll hafta get a new line first cos I did not haf any other lines under my name to transfer..." so I told her "ok... so that means I should get a new line first then get another number and come all the way back here" Then she replied feeling alil bad "ya... or maybe if I'm not serving any customer u can come directly to me" So I told her "ok so I go get my line now at the other side" she said "ya" I proceeded to the other side of the shop to get my new line done but the lady at the other side told me "Oh you're under 21 so that means u cannot have 2 lines under your name... so u hafta go to the other side to terminate your line then come apply for another line" Then I explained to her that I just came from the other side and she told me to come to you... The lady became blur... lol.. Their service wasn't that bad cos after I explained to her, she went all the way out to help me so that I did not have to queue again... heehee... and hence MY NEW NUMBER!!! Yippie~ lol

After getting a new line, we headed to POSB cos my darling girl wanted to change her ATM card... heehee... We then took a train down to Bishan cos we'll be leaving for Shanghai next week and she needed to get a proper pair of walking shoes... shopped around, grabbed a bite and silly me spilled the chicken gravy onto my fav pair of jeans!!!! T.T felt so silly and clumsy... haha.. After munching and drinking, both of us split up and headed for home...

When I reached my stop, I found this lost puppy... he's soooo cute... Wanted to bring him home... Called daddy for his permission... but I kenah scolded by him... T.T I wonder how's the doggy now... ahhh.... hope he has found his owner... poor puppy...

Met dardar at last!!!!!!! lol... hmmmz... you may wonder why I say at last... cos I haven't met him for 1 whole week... and I missed him alot!!!! Made him brunch... heehee...

We met at AMK at 12 plus and caught the movie "Guess who" at Jubilee... The movie wasn't bad... I expected it to be like "Meet the Parents" but it was not anything like that... Its basically about a black girl and a white man falling in love... They went through alot of ordeal and finally they decided to get married... She wanted him to meet her parents to announce their engagement and hopefully get their blessings... But her dad did not really like him in the beginning cos he was "white"... This movie portrays how racists we can be and how we tend to stereotype people of different colour. Therefore I give this movie 4 popcorns!!! lol...

After the movie, dar and I went to Tampines... window shopped around and went to dinner at Billy Bombers in Century Square... After Dinner continued to window shop till it was time to go home... How I wish the day had not ended so early... I miss him sooo much... hmmmz... oh well... hope I get to see him soon... heehee...

Sunday:

Overslept... woke up at 12 plus... heehee... was supposed to be at the doctor's in the morning to get my injection before going to Shanghai next week... But I was too late... the clinic was on half day today... -_-" so I guess I'll hafta go tmr... So instead, I followed daddy and mummy to do some weekend shopping and had brunch together at Bishan... lol... After weekend shopping, went home... hmmmz... dun understand why everytime I drive, daddy will always say I want his life... machiam I'm gonna kill him... sheesh... am I such a lousy driver? lol... anyway... my parking still cannot make it... very slanted... haha... daddy keep nagging at my parking... gawd help me... lol... i think if my daddy was a driving instructor, he would be a very fierce one... lol...

Though my daddy may be fierce and all... I still love him... lol... Tmr will be a public holiday... am supposed to go fishing with dar dar... but I dun think that will be possible... cos darling Amanda will be celebrating her bdae early... haix... another day wun be seeing him... hope I'll beable to meet him soon... lol...
